Silver Wire Belgium Flintlock Pocket Pistol

A good quality Belgium flintlock pocket pistol dating from the late 18th century.
The screw off .43 calibre smoothbore barrel with a ringed muzzle, measures 1 ¾ inches. The whole pistol measures 6 ½ inches.
The engraving on both sides of the frame is deep and very clear and the Belgium proof mark is visible.
The action is crisp and strong, the siding safety works and the barrel screws off.
The rounded grip is finely checked with the majority of the silver wiring on the back still present.
All in all a good quality flintlock in very good condition.
