Pocket Pistol by Wilson of London c1815

A good used condition box lock, flintlock pocket pistol with drop down trigger marked ‘WILSON’ of ‘LONDON’ made around 1815.

The 46 caliber, round, screw off, smoothbore barrel measures 2 ½ inches with the whole pistol measuring 6 ¼ inches.

The frame and barrel muzzle are both engraved. The marks of ‘WILSON’ and ‘LONDON’ are clearly visible forward of the lock.

The action including the drop down trigger is in good working order and the barrel still screws off. The sliding safety does need some oiling.

The slab sided grip with vacant echelon is also in a good used condition.
