Massachusetts Arms Co Civil War Era Adams Navy
An Adam’s patent revolver with a Kerr’s patent rammer made by the Massachusetts Arms Company under licence.

The left side of the frame is marked ‘ADAM’S PATENT / MAY 3 1856’ while the right side is marked ‘PATENT / JUNE 3 1856’. The rammer is marked KERR’S PATENT / APRIL 14th 1857’.
Serial number ‘457’ appears on the plain, 5 shot cylinder and the number ‘839’ appears at the front of the rammer. The walnut checked grips are in good condition.
Some original blueing is still left on the revolver.
