Modified WW2 Australian 1907 Bayonet and Frog

An interesting WW2 Australian made model 1907 bayonet.
The blade measures 16 ¾ inches instead of the standard 17inches. The blade is stamped as made at Orange in May 1942. The board arrow over ‘OA’.
The ‘X’ in front of the ‘OA’ probably means the bayonet was produced for the Shortened, lightened No 1 rifle of which only 100 were produced in 1944.
The bayonet and scabbard are in good condition.
The frog is in excellent condition with clear markings and a 1942 date.
Over all, not your average model 1907 bayonet.
Price includes shipping in Australia, lay buy available.
