Late 18th Century Balkan Flintlock Pistol

An attractive flintlock holster or belt pistol probably made in the late 18th century.
The smoothbore unsighted steel barrel measures 11 ½ inches while the whole pistol measures over 17 inches.
While all the parts of the lock are there it is worn and not functioning. The rammer appears to be a later replacement and is firmly stuck.
All the brass furniture is present and in good condition as is the full-length carved stock. Of interest is the pointed cudgel brass butt.
A good solid Balkans pistol made to be used and not admired and definitely not a tourist pistol.
Sold as a collector item only.
