Pair of Pocket Pistols by Turner c1850

A good matching pair of round framed pocket pistols by Turner of Reading from about 1850.
The .50 calibre smoothbore barrels each measure 1 ¾ inches while the pistols each measure 6 ¼ inches.
Each pistol has light foliate engraving and marked ‘READING’ on the right side and ‘TURNER’ on the left.
Both action work well though the sliding safeties do not seem to engage.
The finely checked bag grips are in excellent condition with vacant German silver echelons. The pistols have only been lightly cleaned leaving the engraving in a good and clear state.
If you’re an art lover here is a chance to own a real Turner!
Sold as a collector item only.
Price includes postage in Australia, lay buy available.
