European Blunderbuss Traveling Pistol

$
An intimidating flintlock pistol that would have had everyone in the room worried. Probably of European manufacture around 1800.
The octagonal to round, smoothbore barrel measures 6 ¼ inches with a whopping 1 ½ inch muzzle flare. Overall the pistol measures 12 inches.
The barrel has a very clearly defined simple Damascus pattern made with two steel rods and a barrel flat with a superfluous front sight. The proofs and marking on the barrel flat suggest European manufacture.
The rounded lock with roller frizzen, has no makers details.
The lock does not hold full cock, the sliding safety is stuck fast and there is corrosion in the pan and surrounds.
The iron furniture is in good condition with minimal corrosion.
The dark full-length stock with its flat sided grip is in very good condition and the rammer is original to the pistol.
All in all a very unusual flintlock arm that would enhance any collection.
